Here it is. I launched that way for the 6.13s run: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...php?p=24512811

I think I'll have to do some more comparisons of launching in "D", in "S", and in "S" w/ brake torque. All with ESP off

haha depends where you let the car rip. IF its a straight road with no one around you should survive. and of course you don't want to push its limit lol. just enough to here a drop of pee is good haha

I can get consistent 4.9's on a cool day, but I'm under 4,200 lbs.

can anyone assist for why this doesn't work for me? Had it in the S5 and it worked great. Now in my 2014 SQ5, when I put the brakes all the way in and hit the gas, it tries to move rather than allowing the rpms to rise. Does it do that if you press the gas slowly? Do I have to press it in quickly?

You guys are nuts - in a good way.Mark P that study of yours is great. Now factor in the Tdi's fuel consumption when it's trying to run down the SQ5 and it looks like a compelling choice.I've driven/owned a lot of high performance cars but 428 lb.-ft. of torque puts a grin on my face every day, even if it's all happening at < 4k rpms.Very relaxing.
