A4 2004 USP 1.8T, Many, Many Electrical Issues. Please Help
#21
Hi.
The pipe that was fitted to your battery is for ventilation purposes, nothing to do with the water ingress.
The A/C drain is a short elbow shaped rubber pipe located behind the carpet, at the bottom of the tunnel, somewhere level with the front of the seat.
I would concentrate on the sunroof or plenum drains. There are 2 plenum drains. One under the battery and the other level but on the other side.

I think I am just going to sell the car -- this is our third car now. ...love the car, the USP definitely makes it a little more masculine, but doesn't make sense to keep it. CarMax offered $5800, but will put it on Craigs list for $6300 firm. The radio is fixed, only issues left are the CCM (or harness) which affect trunk release, windows and sun roof. I don't think I have a clogged drain since after a down pour the ccm location was fine. I think my 2yr old spilled water a while back. Its the Ultra Sports Package, interior is great condition, exterior shows wear as a 10yr old would. There is a coolant leak, but not internal (not burning coolant), seems like its not a hard fix. I think $6300 is fair -- what do you guys think? ...rims have a decent amount of scratches, but full size spare is beautiful.
...oh, sorry if I am not allowed to ask opinions regarding sale. I am by no means attempting to push, sell or advertise here, only want opinions on price.
