Oh, so SHE'S been turning off my lights too? What nerve she's got! I don't mind her driving my car, but please, don't screw with the lights and radio. (VBG)


If there's a way to accidentally, inadvertently, and "invisibly" disable the automatic headlights, since headlights are a mandatory safety feature, that would be a safety-related design defect.

Which is the reason that "please, impale me in an accident" toggle switches were removed from dashboards long ago.

Designing dashboard things so they don't get bumped is old hat. I guess I'll have to look for a gen-you-whine Audi Lightswitch Safety Cover Plate to install before the duct tape gets sticky. (G)
