Am I going crazy?

I just knew this kind of thing would come to pass, when rolls Royce told me they no longer could supply training for our new chauffeurs. And when they refused to supply bearing metal for the engines, well, you can imagine that I was absolutely mortified that I had to ask the jewelers to supply it instead.
These days, Audi will sell their product to anyone who flashes used currency in the showroom. It is absolutely horrifying, absolutely horrifying I tell you. And that young man at the service desk? Wasn't even wearing a neck tie and collar.
What IS one to do ?!

Knee-bumping a switch does seem odd, especially since any "protuberances" in that area are generally considered a safety hazard. In an impact you will "submarine" and slide forward, your knees will generally strike whatever is in that area below the steering wheel, and car makers have gone to some length, for quite some time, to make sure the impact area is smooth and padded, since it doesn't take much to destroy a kneecap on impact.
Now I'll have to go down to the car & slump, to see if I can work the lights with MY knee.

Yup, add me to the list as well. I've hit the switch on exit, going from "Off" to "Auto". First time was at night after I had turned the switch to off. Thought I had an electrical glitch going on until I realized what had happened. I do like the ghost/going-crazy stories better though.

Fred, call the CDC!
Because whatever your car had, is infectious. Now twice in the past two weeks I've found my light switch OFF when I left it on AUTO. And I'm real damned sure my knee can't get in there to turn it.
So either this is an infectious disease, or there are...no, wait...it must be that Audi is trying to teach us difficult customers a lesson, sending around techs at night with master keys to break in and mess with the controls.
What else could it be? (G)
But I couldn't get my knee in there to rotate that control if I TRIED.

I was discussing this posting with my wife and she says that she turns the lights off all of the time. She is only 5', so I assume it happens because of her seat location.
