can someone tell me what cosmetic differences the two models have? (2010 A4 vs 2013 A4)

huge difference, new wheels, new headlight, hood, grilles, fenders, rear bumper, valence, front bumper, and an uglier design. interior improved a bit though

Or as others might suggest, much better looking. Edgier headlight design and rectangular fogs as opposed to circular. I think the changes are an improvement. I also like the new hexagonal grille as opposed to the previous one with more rounded corners.

i like the new headlights actaully.

that said, the tail light design is also slightly different on the part that is on the trunk (the inner corner is vertical not angled)

so headlight, front and rear bumper. the valence is proably different (i know for 2011 / 2012 models the rear valence is different than 2010).

grill is different too. 2013's the top corners are longer, so its more like 6 sides, instead of 4.

A friend has had a 2013 A4 while her Q5 is in for warranty work (2 weeks). Just glancing at the car, there isn't that much of a difference. I really don't like the wrap around DRL's. I prefer my 2010. Interior is very little difference. Overall nice car, but I prefer the $14K I saved buying used

Meh... To each their own. I really didn't like the B8 A4s before the B8.5 but I really do like my 2013. Something about the lights bugged me on the old car. I thought my B7 looked better (granted, my B7 was a 25 Quattro, which is still my favorite). When you put the two next to one another you really do see a lot of small changes that add up to a big difference in appearance. From 50ft at freeway speeds, the average person may not notice the differences.
