Default oil distick - what's the part number?

Today, I tried to convince the guy at my local dealer's parts department to sell my a dipstick for the 2.0T engine. The guy was adamant that no such thing exists and that Audi "wants" people to use the MMI to check oil level. When I told him I could care less what Audi "wants" and that *I* want a dipstick because the MMI meter is not reliable, he basically told me that there is nothing he could do and that no dipstick from any other Audi would fit.

Any thoughts on how I can buy the damn thing?

Give the parts department the above PN# and tell him/her that it is listed under "Tools" and not under "Parts".

Default Dipstick

I must admit, I was very, very displeased to discover there was no dipstick in my S5 cab. Is there one available for that engine?

I do not trust the electronic check and had an issue after my first oil change in that they put slightly too much oil in (maybe 1/2 a quart).

Thanks
matt

This is one of the most FAQ and is in the AW archives. The PN is:06E-115-611-H. The 3.2 V6 and the 3.0 SC shares this same "tool".

Much thanks. I'm going to order one up now. I like to look at the oil too, and the electronic indicator cannot never replace the ability to look and touch the oil. But, I'm an oil change fanatic, so this is probably not really necessary.
