Default Centric brake pads

Finally got around to installing my Centric brake pads. As far as I know these are the only aftermarket pads available. I didn't have a problem with the OEM pad performance, but the dust was killing me. The Centric pads feel/perform very similar to stock. Haven't been able to put them thru a rigorous workout since this winter blows. Also can't tell about the dust since my car is always dirty from winter filth.

But they fit and work well. Hopefully they can keep my HREs clean when spring comes around.

Installed the Posi Quiet Semi-metallic pads. I think they're the only aftermarket pads available for the S6/7 right now.

RockAuto.com shows a half dozen different brands for the S6/7. It could be they are mistaken and some are for the A6/7.

They do show the Posi Quiet pads for $32 & $49.

Likely for the A6/7. I've been looking since I got the car over a year ago. A few sites list the S6/7 but it's for older models.

I can't remember what I paid for the pads since it was a while ago but that seems really low.

RockAuto.com is good for low prices and fast delivery. I've bought from them for years. If I get something big I sometimes add a few other small items (such as wiper blades or new pedal rubber) and it doesn't raise the shipping cost.

If anyone is going to buy from them, I have a 5% discount code to add to the order form. They send one in a email after every order. They say to share it.

rockauto is a good resource to do research and purchase from. I've purchased two sets of Centric Posi_quiet ceramic pads from them in the past 45 days. It's strange, but when I try to find these pads on the Centric website, it's as if they never existed. I could only find them at rockauto. Can't understand that.

BTW, the kits that come with the Centric Posi_Quiet pads are probably the best I've ever seen.
