I really like it, but...what's it for? Is it for off-road use like a Subaru Outback or something? I love it either way, it's pretty badass.

It won't be bone crushing torque. The first model year is slated to have the 2.0t with 211hp. Can't remember the torque figures, but it isn't much higher.

I think the C6 platform version would cost upwards of $65k-$70k if sold in the US?? In most markets the C6 is more expensive than a similarly equipped Q7 almost everywhere except for Germany.

All it needs is an air suspension and a 3.0 diesel engine to be perfect.

I might overlook the air suspension if they offer TDI. I've read a couple of places that the tdi is very possible for 2013...maybe 2014.

Air isn't gonna happen and I wouldn't hold my breath about the diesel either, at least not on B8.
