Default New Wheels

I just had Hartman 22" S-line replica wheels installed today on my 2007 Q7 with Toyo Proxes ST II tires in 285-35-22. I'm pretty happy that the wheels match my paint pretty closely. I thought 22" wheels would be too big, but they almost look normal under the big wheel well the Q7 has. Surprisingly, the ride feels just like stock, something else I was concerned about with going to a 35 series tires. I'm thinking about installing the H&R lowering springs in the near future. Anyone have any experience with the H&R springs for our Q7?

Sorry for the pic quality, I used my Iphone

Looks Great!! Would have thought the ride would be a little harsher with lower profile tires.

PheonixINX,

These are the Hartman HRS4 wheels in 22" by 9.5" I went with Toyo Proxes ST II tires in a 285-35-22. I don't remember what the offset is but the wheel is almost flush with the fender well. If I were to use a 5mm spacer it would be right there. I'm still debating whether to lower it with H&R springs.

I'm having mine lowered with H & R springs on Tuesday. Along with going from OEM 21" wheels to 22" wheels. I'll post some pictures.

Nice wheels, those were my second choice.

Bay Area Q7,

Nice Q you got there. Definitely post your feedback on the H&R springs. I've seen another Q7 here in LA with 22s" thats lowered 2" with KW (I think thats the brand) coil overs and to me it looks perfect. I was measuring the wheel well gap with 22s" and I'm hoping I'll be happy with the H&R springs since they only lower 1.4" front, 1.3" rear. Those KW coil overs are some big $$$

I see you are in Redwood shores. I was born and raised in Foster City. My family lives out in Redwood City now. I miss the bay!

Those look great and easier to clean than the three spoke SLine on the Q5

Savior six

Could you post some close up pics of your wheels and tires some straight on and angles. I just had the dealer lower my Q so now I plan on getting the same wheels here real soon. So wondering what kind of lip protection if any? Are the 285's stretched because I have 295's on the sline 21 s now? thanks.
