Default but in some of the other models...
they managed to put real aluminum. like my mom's B6 A4 has real aluminum trim inside and doesn't have the fake stuff. but my brother's GLI has that "aluminum look" interior throughout and it seems soooo cheap to me that it would have almost been better for them to not put it in at all.

this whole topic is obviously not a big deal and wouldn't sway someone from buying the car, it's just slightly disappointing is all.

but yes- i still am in love with my car :-)

I'd take the new TT's 69% aluminum space frame over some trivial aluminum interior parts any day.
