Since the introduction of the A4 3.2 manual Quattro and Multitronic FrontTrak variants, Audi of America's website has not posted the official curb weights, fuel economy, and 0-60 times.
Many potential A4 buyers are still waiting for AoA to publish the new specs. Although the official website still has not posted performance and weight data, the official Audi 2006/2007 catalogue has listed the new 0-60 times and fuel economy numbers. Curb weight however was not included.
The entire line of A4 3.2 0 -60 times are as follows:
A4 3.2 Sedan Tiptronic quattro: 6.7 sec
A4 3.2 Sedan Manual quattro: 6.5 sec
A4 3.2 Sedan Multitronic FrontTrak: 6.6 sec
A4 3.2 Avant Tiptronic quattro: 6.8 sec
A4 3.2 Avant Manual quattro: 6.6 sec
The entire line of A4 3.2 fuel economy numbers (city/highway) are as follows:
A4 3.2 Sedan Tiptronic quattro: 19/27
A4 3.2 Sedan Manual quattro: 17/27
A4 3.2 Sedan Multitronic FrontTrak: 21/29
A4 3.2 Avant Tiptronic quattro: 19/27
A4 3.2 Avant Manual quattro: 17/27
Although the A4 3.2 manual quattro and 3.2 Tiptronic FrontTrak post slightly better times than the Tiptronic, many real world tests have returned even better numbers. The 3.2 Multitronic for example, having the advantage of a relatively light curb weight (due to the absence of quattro) and a lossless power delivery between gears, is actually expected to return 0-60 times close to 6.0 seconds. Conversely, Tiptronic quattro models have seen far worse numbers posted in magazine comparos in the range of 7.5 seconds.
The heavy and power-sapping Tiptronic will finally be retired when the longitudinal engine DSG transmission is introduced in 2007.

Hmm, so next model year should have an A4 2.0T Quattro (Torsen) w/ DSG?
noice!
Honestly the only thing keeping me from really falling for the A3 is the lack of Quattro (Haldex is just fine) on the 2.0T model.
