Hey guys, need some help.

Am looking for chrome exhaust tips/covers for my tired looked tailpipes.

My car is an 08 3.6l, s-line. Measuring with my ruler, the stock tailpipes are 9.5cm/3.8" in diameter. This seems larger than many chrome covers on the market.

Anyone came across a suitable set on ebay?

I bought mine from the audi dealership for $200. they are slip on so all you do is just push them over the original pipe and boom you've got yourself chrome tips.

Mine does not sell them at all! In fact, the tailpipes are so big that many car workshops here do not have covers for them.

Thus had to look at eBay.

I bought OEM tips from a dealership via Ebay. Paid under $200 for them. They were easy to install and look amazing.

those are the exact same ones I have. Guess I overpaid for them. for install all you do is put them on at a 25 degree twist push them on then twist back until they are flush with the original exhaust tips. also dont forget to order 2 since the ad says that they dont sell them by the pair so unless you want 1 chrome exhaust order 2!

Does the 3.0TDI 2009 has the same exhaust diameter?

not exactly sure. Look online but I think pre facelift has the same exhaust size. if its round then same size. Mine is an 08 so it should be same size and those tips really do improve the look of your car just don't make the same mistake I did by buying them from the dealership.

Thanks, from what i see the 09, 08(we have 08 TDI here) has the same tips at least from the pictures, hope to buy the Q7 this week and start to make some mods
