Exhaust tubing size 2.25?

Need to get a universal cat and just want to same size tubing
Just going cut out and use the borla super wide band clamps. Anyone try this?? Don't weld and this would be the cheapest way. $100 for everything.

second look and it will not work, pipes after/before the cats bents to much.
