It is just an assumption, not a fact, as I stated.
Something must have caused the delay. Since most of the 3.2 is identical with the 2.0T, I was assuming a shortage of engines. Maybe it was body parts. Or something else.
PS: It may even be an option that they want and you didn't order, that makes yours and others go through without delay.

True. I got all options except Premium Leather and Rear air bags.
I am thoroughly impressed though. I was expecting with the paint and the rails to have to wait and wait and wait, not get it 2 weeks early! I consider myself lucky that me and my dad were able to order our cars on the same day with the same options (except his doesn't have special order paint) to have them arrive on the same truck.
