Default Squeaks?

I've been aware, when driving with the windows open, of fairly faint, high pitched squeaks coming from the front end when going over bumps or irregular pavement. It seems to be on both sides. I hear it mostly when going through a tunnel or alongside a concrete barrier--something the sound can bounce off of. I don't want to get too focused on odd noises--but just wondering if this is normal?

Its the brake pads floating in the calipers. Ive had several vw's that do the same thing. Sounds like change jingling each time u hit a bump.
