Audi made a big mistake with the dead fish look
Nobody currently looking for a new Audi remembers the 30's Auto Union cars and they were ugly anyway (and dangerous).
The prettiest Audi's ever were the B5 A4 models. The B6 aren't too bad, the back end is growing on me. After that they (and the VW of the same ilk) are just butt ugly, no other way to describe them.
However, ALL current German makers are building butt ugly cars. BMW have the Bangle Butt, Mercedes has the hideous "coupe", VW and Audi look like dying fish. Maybe Opel aren't too bad but who buys those?
