245/40/19 on a A4 2011
Hi guys i'm about to put some 19" wheels on my A4 2011 and i was wondering if 245/40/19 tires would be alright even if it's a 4% difference in ratio...
I know that the perfect size for 19"s are 245/35/19 but i live in Montréal where potholes are more like craters!!!
So is there anyone here that rides with 245/40 or have any feedbacks on that setup.
Thank's Ben

I don't know if it will create other problems than the speedometer reading slow but now that you want the height of the tire wall to be 98mm (rather than 86mm) why not use the correct rim size 18"? That is 245/40 18.
