How can I upgrade SD card reader to hold more than 4 GB?
Dear all, I have a 2009 Audi A4. Base model. It doesn't have the iPod connector. And the maximum SD card I can read is a 2 GB SD card.
I have told that I could do a software upgrade for the concert radio to allow it to read SDHC cards.
Is this accurate? If so, how can I get the upgrade?
Thank you.

2009 Audi A4 with 64 GB Card
I had the similar issue on my A4 B8 2.7 SLine, don't remember SVM code but it was Radio software needed to be updated,
Spoke to Audi Dealership and explained the situation that can not use more then 2 gb card and gave them SVM code which was related to software updated for radio.
The said there will be £60 charge and we need to connect your car with Audi server back in Germany to check if any update available for ur chassis number.
Insisted if no updated available still update radio to its latest firmware.
After 2 hrs received call from Audi and they told car is ready to be collected.
Went to collect and asked for how much total charges she just said nothing to pay because we are not sure you will achieve what you wanted to do i.e use 64GB sd card in SD slot and good luck
Just sticked in 64GB micro SD card in SD jacket and it read all 30gig music folders and worked like a charm
You just need your Radio SW update to SW: 0310 and it reads 64 GB SD/MMC cards.
Cheers,
Usman

Do you really want to have the sd card so you can pick songs through the MMI?
If not.. recently I picked up a $14 MMI to headphone jack cable on eBay. And I bought a $20 bluetooth to headphone jack receiver from Monoprice. The receiver can be plugged into micro usb power and operate at the same time, so it's kinda nice. That's the same plug that my phone uses.
I now have a pretty cheap solution for bluetooth streaming, and the monoprice puck sounds pretty OK. It has good signal strength, and voices and music are good. It loses a little bass though.
