Anybody interested in helping? I have a 2002 a6 c5 30v 3.0L needing some attention.

Or can recommend the right shop to do the work (preferably on the west side). I want to find someone experienced with the 3.0L engine and troubleshooting a ticking noise. It may be nothing, but I still want to open up the valve cover and have an experienced eye look it over. And I want to do the timing belt service anyway.

I'm happy to put some money into the project (of course). I've been doing research for hours on my situation (got the Vag Com machine and everything) and I think it makes the most sense to get an experienced person to look it over an listen.

I had multiple cylinder misfires that I just cleared, along with replacing all ignition coil packs (recall) and all spark plugs, and I still have a slight ticking noise very near to cylinder 5. The tick sound like its coming from driver-side camshaft...but based on my research it could be 1 of 10 things (worn cam lobe, lifter, bad oil, bad gas, etc... etc... etc...)

I'd love to open it up myself, but I don't want to go down that road. I have no patience and lack good tools. Thanks.
