- [Emergency Brake Flashing via Brake Lights active]
Enable Euro parking lights that turn on signal at night
Manish - I have confirmed these that you list as not verified on my 2013 Prestige+ (no Innovation Pkg):

[B]Lap Timer enabled[B] - works great, multiple laps tracked and can start/stop/pause the timer using steering wheel buttons. Additionally, the Lap Timer screen also shows the oil temp in the uppoer right corner of the center cluster.
[B] Enable Euro Parking Lights[B] - have done this, works great in the front, but does not turn on the rear parking lights. Would be great to find a way to do that.

Billy- the Lap Timer uses the steering wheel buttons, not the stalk, so you may be good to go.

Ok, supposedly I have the lap timer enabled. Would you please provide the steps on how to get it to display.

Thanks

Use the arrow key on the steering wheel until you see onboard computer, scroll down to lap timer, hit ok

You should see the above.

Confirm with the following config

Address 17: Instruments (J285) Labels: 4H0-920-xxx-17.clb
Part No SW: 4G8 920 983 M HW: 4G8 920 983 M
Component: TBenUsaAccNv H79 0515
Revision: 28460207 Serial number: 658120912596005
Coding: 0BC609040F51D705020000
Shop #: WSC 02391 785 00200
ASAM Dataset: EV_RBD4K 004046
ROD: EV_RBD4K_AU57.rod
VCID: 3F8D8F4CA622BBE0186

The lap timer work, you start/stop using the ok button.

I didn't drive anywhere, so not sure if the oil temp and boot works or not, will report back tomorrow.

The battery status does NOT work on my car, nor ripping of CD

Enable Automatic Gear selection shown in DIS
[02 - Auto Trans] --> [Adaptation - 10]
  • Select "Single Gear Display" from top channel drop down menu
  • Select "D on/S on" from New value drop down menu

After you make the selections, be sure to hit Save or Do it before leaving the page. I don't remember but you might also have to reboot the MMI for it to show up.

I think "rebooting" the MMI is what's missing in my steps. However, I looked up and can only find how to boot MMI 3G and 2G. Is it the same for 4G MMI's? Thanks for the help guys

For the Gear Display mod, a reboot is not necessary.

But if you wish to do it, it is done by pushing down the "Menu+Control ****+top right" buttons at the same time. Press all three at the same time then release.
