Default What's up with the prima stuff? Anyone try this? Please forgive ignorance. Did not search...

I was looking on the website, I want to order some polish, wax etc. Was thinking of going Klasse Twins. I ususally use One Grand stuff and just wanted to try something different. Also want to get the full use out of my PC. As you know, One Grand is a great product but a bit hard to use.

So, what's up with Prima??

Default Ok.....

1)Clay

2)Something to get out light swirl marks on Denim blue a4

3)Wax-preferably something I can use with my PC

4)Quick detail spray- usually use 1GB.

I have a PC and pads already, as well as towels etc. And yes, price is a concern. I love to detail my car and they way it looks but I'm on a budget. Especially at this time of the year :P

Default so much stuff out there

Clay- Go with clay magic, or adams. Prima has one but I havent tried it. Im sure its good.

Light swirls- Prima Finish or Adams Revive. I loved the Adams Revive polish mixed with Menzerna Intensive polish (50%) great mix!

Wax- Nothing is any good with a PC IMO. Waste of time and product. I love 1z Glanz, Blackfire Paint protection and Prima Epic. All winners.

Quick Detailer- My favorite, hands down. Prima Slick.

https://forums.audiworld.com/detail/msgs/47137.phtml</a

Default Really all I heard on this board was how great PCs were. This was last year...

Has something changed?

Default no, you heard correctly

the PC is still the weapon of choice. A rotary also rocks if you have the ***** and skill. (I have neither)

But...

Waxing with a PC has little benefit. Polishing is where the PC excels. Wax need only be applied, gently, to the paint and removed. Polish on the other hand needs to be worked in and broken down, a feat not accomplished by hand.

The PC will get you 2x better the results in half the time, with regard to paint prep. ANy wax product is simply wipe on.... wait to dry... buff off.

Make more sense now?
