Oh for cripes sake. Dealer charged me $319.25 for "diagnosis" and still doesn't know what's wrong.

That was for 2.5 hours of labor, plus ten bucks to top up my oil (and I doubt it was synthetic). And they want to put in a new ECU to find out if that's the problem.

Robbery I say! The car is getting flatbedded out of there on Friday morning.

back and show him what a dip$hit he was.....

Never heard of a 300$ diagnostic charge...evar!

Diagnostic labor and Mechanical labor should bill at diff rates. IMO.

Default I wrote to AoA when a dealer did that to me. They made dealership give me a refund.

My reasoning was I should not have to pay for a tech's inability to figure out what is wrong. One tech may figure it out in 5 minutes. Another may never. Why should I pay by the hour for that?
