Hi I have a 2014 A6 Prestige with 3.0T. Recently i started noticing a vibration about 1 second after I start the car in Park (not start-stop-start). Its like either the AC or the transmission is getting engaged but the AC is turned off and the car is in PARK. I have an appointment for next week - but any ideas anyone?

I have a 2012 3.0 and have occasionally noticed the same thing. I asked the dealer to look at it once and they told me they didn't see anything. Hopefully you'll have different results.

I notice a vibration that seems more like a mis or a stumble after i restart the car after it's been sitting for an hour or so. Doesn't do it while I'm in drive but studders when idling in park. Dealer told Me it was normal audi.

I've felt similar sensations before as well, but I wouldn't call it a vibration, more of a noise. I had assumed it was related to the electric power steering (either engaging or self-testing).

Of all the weird noises that German cars apparently are "supposed" to make (I've been through 3 brand new german cars in the last 4 years), this doesn't rank anywhere near the top!
