Will older model Audi wheels from a 95 S6 (16 inch) fit my A4 with Sport for the winter? I went on Tire Racks site and it seemed that 17 inch were the smallest they offered? I prefer smaller diameter for the winter and lower cost. In the market for a set of 4 rims and snows.

I think there is clearance issues with the brake caliper when trying to move to a 16" wheel.

Another way to check is in the Owner's Manual where tire inflation pressures are listed...it'll show alternate wheel sizes. I don't think a 16" size is listed for the B8 car.

You can check with Gary at Tire Rack. He would know.

I found a nice set of 17" OE wheels on CL for cheap $$$. You just have to watch for them or check the Classifieds section here.

I believe the bolt spacing is different on the B8. The Tire Rack brand Sports Edition wheels are cheap and fine. I use 17" black on an Sline titanium model. They look great and and ride and handle well. OEM 19" going on tomorrow.
