Does anyone know a good replacement for the audi navi plus? I want to make the car more up to date. Cd is kind of yesterday. But i also want to keep as much original look. And also some of the features as steering wheel control and so on still be working.

Anyone?

Theres been a lot of right ups about converting to RNS-E (yours will be RNS-D).
If you want to keep steering wheel controls and dashboard DIS displays, your choice will be limited.

There are a number of aftermarket Chinese RNS-look-a-like units with good feature sets but questionable sound and build quality.

I've wondered about fitting more modern VW RNS units (eg. RNS 510) which would need a custom surround.

Your only other option would be a modern nav/dvd/bluetooth unit with a custom surround and forget about integration with steering and DIS.

You can integrate the steering controls with aftermarket units; just gotta get the adapter, I believe. The center dash display may be a different story, though...

Thanks for answers, i checked out the Chinese players on ebay. Ended up buying a pioneer player. But have problems with the sound. Since there is bose loudspeaker i guess. Anyone know what kind of adapter i need? Or do i need to cut wires?

You could try using the pre-outs for speakers rather than the standard speaker wires if you haven't done so already. I'm not sure how the bose uses its inputs, but other amps work that way.
