Default 2014 Q7 S-Line center console re & re

Actually not the whole console. I'm replacing the aluminum trim parts and need to know how to remove the face place around the shifter. Is it similar to the 2010 q5 even though the parts look different?

Hey, sorry. Although I need to remove the center console, I'm not looking to replace or remove any parts. I'm only looking to remove so I can swap out the aluminum for carbon fiber trim.

It's quite easy, every parts are clipped into places.
You'll have better idea after you watch this.

BTW where did you get the carbon fiber trim
The aluminum trim on mine are pretty bad now. I'm thinking about replace it or just paint it over.

Wow, that looks simple enough! Thx.
I'm getting my stuff wrapped at ocarbon.com. I had them do my trim for my 2010 Q5 and really liked the new look it gave. 2 days after I picked up my 2014 Q7, I placed my order for the 4 door trims, the passenger side trim, the center console (in your video) and the part that goes around the MMI and gauges. If you want to see what my Q5 looked like, I can share pics through drop box. Or if you'd prefer to wait for my Q7 parts to be installed, remind me in roughly 1.5 to 2 months from now and I'll do that instead.

The guy who runs OCarbon is great to deal with also. Let him know I sent you (Richard 2010 Q5 and recent 2014 Q7 order)
