I ordered a Blinder 3 head package with the BEL STiR radar detector directly through Blinder for a great price. Had a beautiful built-in install done for under $500 with all visuals and switches underneath the sliding door in front of the shift lever. The single blinder low-profile head in the rear by the plate is hardly noticeable. Good luck!

Recessed Bel Stir + into dash slot to left of MMI Screen.

Glad you like your install!

After having something similar for 6 years in my BMW, I decided I did not need/want to cut any part of the A7 or have the control module on the dash.

With the display in the front storage compartment, I can see it when the alarm goes off and can drop my hand down to either mute or turn either the radar or laser detector off without taking my eyes off the road. Then close the door and no one can see anything. Totally stealth...
