I am close to getting the 19" rims with 255/35/19 Dunlop winter sports on em. TOtal is about 800 less than the factory rims, and I am wondering if i am bettor off just placing an order with Audi. I can get the stock rims within a week....

I called on the replica RS4 wheels at stratmosphere and they told me the offset would not work on our RS4 with the replicas. They stated we need a 20-25ET offset. Stratmosphere was saying the dealership was by far our best option or finding RS6 wheels.

$800 isn't that much. For that price difference I would go with stock wheels. Alternatively put the snows on your current stock wheels and wait for spring to see what has emerged in the aftermarket wheel sector for lightweight forged summer wheels.

I have driven about 15000 miles on them with not a single problem. I agree with one of th eposts below though.. unless you want to go forged, which will cost you $600 a wheel before tires, I think you are best off going with OEM wheels. Also I think FSC is right, the regular offset of these reps is not agressivce enough to work on a real RS4. Check my pic poster for pics of the polished forged hartmanns on my car.

I ordered up the 19" replica rims from Hartmann. Putting the 255/35 Dunlop 3D on them, as tire rack had no M3 in 19".. THinking maybe I should have just gone with the stock rims and set up, which would have run another 1000 in the end with labor installation etc..though I am second guessing myself some.....I'll get them in about 10 days and post a pic here...........
