Default Petit Le Mans questions for a noob... (sorry for so many)

1. Who all is going?
2. I bought the package through ACNA, where do I go once I get up there?
3. I have one of those party screen tents, should I bring it? It's easy to set up and can fit 6-8 people (just to hang out, get a little shade/keep dry)
4. I see that they "prohibit" alcohol from being brought into the track. Are they strict on this?
5. What time should I get up there to avoid traffic on Friday and Saturday. Is anyone camping out on Friday night?

Thanks, looking forward to it.

Default answers....

1) me
2) It's pretty easy. Just ask a worker if you don't get a little map of the facility with your package.
3) Bring the pop up...you never know if you will need to get out of the sun or rain.
4)Really they do.....never heard that one. If they do I think it's if you get really stupid they have some reason to toss you out.
5)Traffic is there pretty much all the time... Friday is usually really light all day .. Saturday get in before 8:30-9am and you should be good to go.

2. Basically we'll be infield at turn 1. Your event packet, which you will be receiving soon, will have your maps and instructions.

3. Won't be necessary during the day, but I guess if you're camping out at night you might need it.

4. We'll have beer and wine, but feel free to BYOB. We didn't have any problems sneaking in 'beverages' last year.

5. Don't know about traffic. If you decide to camp out Fri night, we will have someone stationed for night watch in case it makes a difference.

Glad you could make it out for Petit. I imagine with the Q7 this event is the only way to get some track action so to speak. It will be great to see it with the other Audis during the parade lap on Friday morning.

Why would you bring a shade tent when the Audi Tent is all shade?

Sorry, I don't know how everything is setup there. I guess I'll leave it at home. Thanks.

Default The tent has pretty much anything you will need. Also the location is really good.

If you decide you want to see other parts of the track..it is an easy walk. Plus inside the tent are TV screens so you can see what is happening around the track.

Default Thanks BluDemon and michelangelo. Really looking forward to it.

Any requests for larger items? Or does someone need a large item carried up there? Plenty of room in my car.

I'll have a large cooler filled with ice and maybe a little beer/wine.

And congrats, BluDemon, on the new RS4.

Default Oh, might want to bring a portable chair/cushion thing if you wander to spectator hill

Thanks for offering space in your Q. There is actually decent space in the Avants, so I should be fine. Far different story when I had my TTs though.

Default Well.....

1. Who all is going?
24 others are in the package, plus some 'ghosts'. I'm one fo the cat-herders (volunteers).

2. I bought the package through ACNA, where do I go once I get up there?
Infield parking across the Suzuki bridge to the end of the street. At the T, look to your left. AoA/ACAN will be setup atop the hill above Turns 1 through 2.

3. I have one of those party screen tents, should I bring it? It's easy to set up and can fit 6-8 people (just to hang out, get a little shade/keep dry)
Bring it!

4. I see that they "prohibit" alcohol from being brought into the track. Are they strict on this?
If you're caught being stoopid, you're evicted.

5. What time should I get up there to avoid traffic on Friday and Saturday. Is anyone camping out on Friday night?
9AM or earlier is better! There are public camping areas.

Thanks, looking forward to it.
