I have a 2002 TT Roadster with 55k on it and it has been great! It sits most winters, as it did this winter, and I had a battery charger on on it with trickle charge at 2amps. I wanted to take it out when it warmed up, charger said 100%, but there is no indication there is ANY power. No alarm, no instruments, no electronic "click" when I turn the key.

I checked ALL the fuses; both in the cockpit and on top of the battery, all looked good visually. I guess I could test them all with a meter.

I really don't want to have it towed to the dealer and pay them big bucks to diagnose especially if it could be something simple.

Any ideas?

Check the earth connections for corrosion , undu the battery terminals and give the a good clean with sand papper , plus the leads.

Probably a bad ground. Check ground cables for corrosion. Don't just check the negative cable from the battery. There are other ground cables from engine to frame.

check the starter ground wire.

Have it jumped first, or try another batt. The clicking when key turn is often a bad battery.
