Default RS7 depreciation

OK the RS7 is a new car right, and nobody really knows yet how bad the depreciation on it could be.
Audi have estimated 50% loss after 3 years. But I've just seen a professional valuation website that estimates the RS7 losing a whopping 35% after just 1 year. That's right 35%!
I hope that's not true. Hell I guess I'll be keeping the car for a long time now.

Depends on who is doing the selling. Dealers will insist a 3 year old RS7 is worth $25 less than new if you buy used. If you're trying to lease one then they insist it's almost worthless by the time you turn it in...

No kid lays awake at night wanting 4 doors... that's my MBA off the cuff answer to that question. The german super saloons tend to fall fast.
I got at 3yr old Alpina B7 for $41k with 17k miles. MSRP $123k.

The 997TT I bought Nov10 is worth about the same today as it was then...

For resale I'd say a similar priced R8 will do better than an RS7 although you could use a RS7 in more practical sense..

Good post. Very true. Wanted an R8 badly but two seats and no luggage space was just too difficult to live with. You need a 2nd car with an R8, whereas the RS7 can be your only car.
