1 Fast TT

I am looking at buy an A4 and ran across this one. The mileage is high but the car looks to have been maintained well.

What are you thoughts, what would you offer?

I contacted this same company a couple weeks ago about another A4 they had listed and they did even have the car any more. The communication was poor, which gives me pause in trusting the history they offer of any car they're selling. If you can track down the previous owner and talk directly to them - thats' you best bet.

I much prefer buying from an individual vs a dealer or wholesaler.

How would I go about trying to find out who owned it before?

Have you talked to teh dealer - do they have any records? Sometimes there's a receipt or registration doc still in the glove box.

If the interior and body are in good shape, then the car was probably maintained well, but if there are no records, plan on doing a TB & WP job immediately. Have it looked over real good. That car w/ that many miles could get expensive real fast if it wasn't maintained properly.
