Does anyone know if the cd changer in the Passat is the same as the A4?

I am thinking of taking the one out of my '98 Passat and having the dealer install it in the A4. Any help would be great. I'm assuming the post about installing the changer in the A4 is the same for the Passat.

not sure about hookups, but the cd magazine is interchangable...

YES, ACTUALLY A MODEL FROM ALPINE ! I THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS WHEN INSTALLING IT !
