Default Audi 5000 turbo vs. 200 Automatic Trans Question

Hello all- new here but a longtime lurker and Audi/ VW enthusiast.
I am trying to find out if the REH code auto transmission from a 1990 200 automatic FWD has the same internals of the 5000 turbo spec'd automatics (code RDE & RDU). Hopefully a knowledgeable Audi mechanic or anyone else here can tell me- basically I am looking for the automatic section, not the entire trans, of a 5000turbo automatic that has 4 gears in both planetary sets, versus 3 in the normal non-turbo 5000 auto trans. So does anyone know if the 200turbo automatic back end section is the same as the automatic back end section of the 5000 turbo?
Reasoning- I have a 1990 Vanagon that I am rebuilding the transmission in- apparently the 5000turbo trans, with the 4 gears in the back end is stronger than the original 3 in stock vanagons and those of the non-turbo 5000 models. So, want to rebuild it to be able to withstand the extra weight of the van plus an engine conversion with more HP down the road.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
-Bob
