Default Boost gauge and turbo timer

Wondering if the above gauges are necessary for my Q? I would appreciate the input thanks.

It's just a gadget for car, nothing else

A Boost gauge can be fun to watch but a turbo timer is an obsolete item. Any car with an after run coolant pump (like ours) has no need for a turbo timer.

That this is necessary then it would be standard equipment for all cars, or as an option

So if I added a stage one tune would I then need it?

add only if you need to know how much boost is being used.
