what he really means to say is this...
"I was originally looking for an older B3/B4 90q or CQ to do a 3B or AAN swap into for a track *****.
However, in my search I've come across a very well-sorted 034'ed UrS4. While I know it's a boat and not really meant to be a track car, I think I can have a lot of fun with it as a weekend cruiser and occasional big-track car.
Show me your green UrS4s so I can get excited enough about them to convince me to take the leap and forget about a CQ/90q.
Thanks."

Well, we both know this, however...
In our discussions, it has become clear that the car will realistically maybe see a drag strip 3-4 times a year, and a track like Willow 2-3 times a year... not exactly something that's going to be taken out every weekend. It will see much more street/cruise/GTG/show time than it will track time.
Therefore, to have a car already 034 GT'd, suspension, wheels, etc. (pretty much just needs some upgraded brakes, FMIC, exhaust and weight reduction) for much less than would be spent on a CQ + engine transplant + turbo + ecm + etc...
This may be a better route for the time being. And, if he does swing wide and wreck the body of this thing on the track...
the motor/turbo/trans are all set to be dropped into a b-chassis car :-D
