Default The last straw,,,,

[vent]

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse (see my previous post https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/547492.phtml) it does.

I went to leave from work, and my POS wouldn't start. I'm guessing ignition switch since the accessories were doing funny things too.

Anybody want to buy my car? It will be for sale SOON. [/vent]

Default To make you feel better, my GF's '96 Acura wouldn't start yesterday...

She drove the TT and when I checked her car last night, I found out it just flooded. Anyway, it seems ok now, but she just took the (ultra reliable) '96 A4 - same miles as here Integra. BTW, I had replaced my Mazda tranny at 6,000 miles, and my Mitsubishi is not doing so good either (tranny konked out at 40k). Good thing I have a lot of tools and patience to keep these cars ;P The Audi's are pretty good to us so far - and these are the cars we "abuse" the most. Talk about your Sunday driving

Default Mine is definately not flooded....

When driving down the highway, if I turn it off, and turn it back on again, sometimes the motor won't refire unless I wiggle the key into the right position. I'm pretty sure it's the ignition switch, I'll find out tomorrow, I've got half the steering column apart now, but I have to pull the steering wheel to get the rest apart.

Probably battery. Can make a lot of things act strange when it gets drained.

Default Nope. Battery is good. Check my "not flooded" post below.

Car runs fine with a push start, and will not restart after.
