Very little brakes after line replacement
I'm not sure why I have no brakes on my 2000 S4. I had the car apart (in hundreds of pieces) for many years and finally put it back together last month.
Anyway I filled the reservoir and bled all the lines and clutch.
My clutch seems fine but I have no brake pedal and the brakes do work, but only on the last 2 inches or so of pedal travel off the floor. The pedal also does not return back and I have to manually raise it up to keep the brake lights from illuminating. The cluster isn't giving me any warnings.
I've searched the archives and double checked my vaccuum line going to the booster and all seems fine.
Could it be air in the ABS controller? This is an early 2000 S4, and it doesn't have the ESP button. I've also checked fluid leaks and this is fine, too.
Any help would be appreciated.
