Default Is it "Hard" to swap the camshafts on a V6?

Well beside of removing the intake, in fact thats a part of the plan on my idea adding supersprint headers this winter.
So, after that removal I get access to the valve cover, correct,,,
And then below are the cams bolted into the gears and held in place by a couple of girdles, correct,,,
Ive seen some expensive "tools" on ebay, do I really need them to make the swap?
Isnt it just a question on keeping the camchain in correct position and retorque the two cams with the ft/lbs asked for?

IS IT "DIFFICULT"?
