Default Looking for more S8 swap/6spd swap info.

Hi community.

I've recently purchased a high miler A8. I'm going to replace the tired 4.2 with the 360HP S8 motor.

So, here's my questions:

I've read that all I will need for the motor are:

- Complete motor
- Wiring Harness
- ECU

For the transmission, I've been using this:
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...sion-for-D2-A8

and this..

http://forums.quattroworld.com/a8/msgs/12898.phtml

For my guides, but I have a few questions:

Firstly, the author states that we need a 01E trans with spacer, my question is what is this spacer off of? A 2.7t?

Thanks so much!

Holy cow, just the man I wanted to see respond to this thread!

Where can I get one of those pedal boxes?
What do I do about clutch hydraulics?

Thanks so much! You're the master!
