The color code changed as well as the MSRP (4/15/2013):

4G0 601 025 J = 8Z8 (Diamond Silver) $475
4G0 601 025 BT = 1H7 (Silver) $723

Not sure what the difference is in color.

No. I got the j and returned it, color was different enough to bother me. If you did both on one side of car would probably be fine.

What is the color difference between the J and BT? Wondering if one would look better on a brilliant black S6 than the other. Here is a pic I found on the internet of a BT, but would probably need side by side pics to tell the difference.

It is really slight. If no one told me about it I might not of known. One is a bit "brighter"

So I assume a 04/14 build would have a "BT" wheel - has anyone tied these back to the equipment sticker to see if there's a different code?

LOL, I have two BT and two J version of this style unfortunately I won't know for sure until early July, One set is in a different state. I will report back in early July and take a photo of both sets side by side. But honestly I think it will be enough of a difference in color that will warrant a repaint.

just put two on one side and two on other, would be impossible to tell- literally that close.
