The wife's Q5 leds are not coming on as running lites like they used to...


I KNOW it was my messing with the vagconm settings to try and get the fog lites to come on too, but does anyone have the 'stock' settings for the lights on a 2011 Q5 PP ?

I'll set it back to stock and go from there...

(Dang software engineer that didn't do a backup )

There is always data kept on what you changed and when. Go look here:

C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Debug\CodingLog.TXT

In this file, it should show every coding change you have ever made with the software installation.

Most people out there don't know about this little feature -- but it can help in a bind.

So do you want the original settings for the lights? What module is that? -- I'll see if I can hunt it down from my logs (I have a 2012 Q5 PP, but I think the coding is the same)

Yes sir - would think 09 cent electric...

but it's been a long while since I looked thanks in advance !

any stock settings would be helpful as the last thing I was trying was to get the fog lights to stay on as driving lights and that's where I botched it up

Here's the original long coding for 09 Cent Elec (and I actually verified this from my logs from 2 different vehicles). Identical.
