Got to tear up the new BMW 335i twin turbos yesterday at Autobahn. We had a group out there

How many is all of them?
Someone over at e90post mentioned that the e90s had an issue where the DSC would shut the car down when it detected abnormal use of the ABS system, which was pretty common at the track. Any possibility the same thing happened here?
I do know the 335i runs hot, the compression is high; even on my multiple test drives I commented that the oil temp was high, but you never know if maybe it was an electronic issue.
Thanks for answering my first question, btw. I appreciate it.

Nope. My DCS was off. There are two stages and mine was completely off. The students had theirs
on. They just flat out overheated and it was a 75 degree day too. Good luck in the summer with those cars. 300 degrees is unbelievably hot for a street car. The car needs at the very least a second oil cooler.

The e90 post forum guys are hilarious. I guess I'm now gay as a result of my comments about the
335 overheating. What an immature bunch of people but I guess you have to consider the source. So, if you guys are still reading this, you can gladly link to my e-mail, shoot me a message if you are in the area and we'll try and set up a time when you can experience the overheating. I'm a member at Autobahn Country Club and you can come with me for some hot laps and see it shut down for yourself. You can also ask the track manager who is a former Indy 500 participant, the assistant track manager who is a competitive racer and a myriad of others who experienced the same thing. I really do like the car except for this issue. And no, I really didn't experience brake fade. Maybe you're just a bad driver and have to rely on your brakes too much? The one thing I don't know however is whether or not BMW or ABCC threw on some aftermarket pads and high temp fluid. Would be the smart thing to do but I don't know that.
I'm not making the story up.

They're just being defensive...
...there are immature people on all forums, unfortauntely. I think most people definitely believe you, and are just hoping it was an electronic issue, or that you guys were pushing the cars too hard, etc. Personally I am worried; I track my cars all the time and I don't think 5 hot laps is undue stress for a car. I am sure BMW will fix the issue, but the fact that it exists bugs me.
