Ever thought the security horn on our cars is too quiet
Well I did, so today I added a 100 decibel squealer under the car to add to the discomfort for the scum who stole a $15000.00 B4 Subaru [with double immobiliser] from out front of my house 3 nights ago-Got it back but munted.
The man in the shop said it is the same noise rating as a jet engine during take off.
Certainly adds to the horn noise and the high pitch of the squealer grabs attention more readily.
Very easy mod and hopefully never required.
Annoyed the neighbours testing it tonight.

Hmm, as a matter of fact, yes it is too quiet. If I may I think I'll "borrow" your squealer addition idea. Any notes on installation?

no very easy just mount under the bottom of the boot vent running wire through vent
there is a little water proof cavity under there for the unit and it is noisier outside.
Wire in the positive to the horn wire and the earth the same.
I left the horn operating as well now nice and loud
