Default RS5 Driver assist package or no?

Alright, Ive asked a bit about what drivers assist has to practically offer, so I am curious from the community: If you got your RS5 with DA package are you happy you did? Any people out there NOT order it and wish they did? I have a few more days in which I can change my order, so i would love opinions please-

I got it and wouldn't give it up. The dynamic steering alone is worth it. ACC is super convenient on long highway trips and in traffic and the side assist is a nice piece of mind.

Side assist is actually part of MMI+ for 2014 models.

Side Assist is part of MMI in the MY2014.

for me I never had ACC so i never cared about it and for the Dynamic Steering I did not likeit when i test drove it (I heard there were issues with SW update that was fixed later)

Keep in mind the really ugly sphere that will be on the front of your car.

That's subjective. Maybe it doesn't stick out as much on a black car, but I think it looks kinda cool. Like a missile ready to launch :-). It's been a conversation starter. People have asked me what it is.

In January I picked up a 2014 RS5 Coupe with DA pkg. On my car the Side Assist was included in this pkg not in the MMI+ which I also have.
The ACC is a great feature if you do any long distance driving and it also makes you aware if you are getting too close to the car in front of you if you were to get distracted or look away from the front windshield for some reason while driving around town. The Dynamic Steering just gets better and better the more I get use to it. Especially when your traveling at low speeds in a parking lot trying to maneuver the car around with its variable ratio. I wouldn't do without it now. I feel the DA pkg is definitely worth it and would get it again in a heartbeat. As for the asymmetrical look of the ACC sensor on the front end, that's just a matter of taste. As one of the previous posters had already said , it's a conversation starter. Once again, my votes for the DA pkg. You won't be sorry if you get it but might if you didn't.

I've heard of issues around radar detectors not working with DA.

On a good radar detector, you can disable that particular signal, which isn't really used by police anymore.
