Well don't just leave us hanging! Wow, I hope the deal was local and you didn't pay to transport her across the country before discovering her flaws.... though that WOULD be consistent with an Italian mistress

You know the drill with these Italian mistresses, I never heard back from "her", the seller was out of his mind, he was selling me the car with no cats and no pre-cats, 5k just to get the car "legal" and be able to register it, some wheel bearings and another thing I do not remember and the bill was 9k. that was a fast1 hour inspection, if we did a full PPI with compression tests and everything other things would have surfaced, that is why I offered him 16k less to take my chances. The guy has a 3,000 pounds paper weight as it is right now, and he is looking to get a naive buyer. I am being offered 55k for my car (which is fair for a stock a7 and this is not the case) but even if they were 58k I will not take it because I do not have another car to get, even if I get an identical a7(stock) I would need to pay taxes to have the same car. it seems I will be a fortunate (and happy) a7 owner for a while now.

There is a mistress somewhere waiting to be mine, by the way I forgot to say it didn't ship the car here it was a local deal
My only expense was 120 for the 1 hour inspection (best money spent ever)

Yep, pre-purchase inspection is pretty much *ALWAYS* a good idea! Glad to hear she was a cheap brush-off at least

How does your wife feel about all this mistress talk?

Good luck with your search... I hope you find new romance.
