As promised - just spoke with ECS. The above part number is for Q7. The guy at ECS could not reassure me this would be OK for a Q5. So, what do the gurus think ? I would say, that it should be OK.

The answer is simple, all Audi models manufactured after 2010 not have oil dipstick (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5)

They use some of the same components as the older models, in this case it is tube for oil dipstick S / N: 059115630AH or 059115630AA for 2.7 / 3.0TDI engine.
The same is the case with gasoline-engine 2.0TFSI, 3.0 TFSI, 3.2 FSI, 2.0TDI

Example (A4, A5, A6, Q5): 1.8TFSI / 2.0TFSI: Both to have the same dipstick tube 06H115610B, oil dipstick is 06J115611E

Nobody you can not find a part only for Q5

Oh yes I forgot oil dipstick for 3.0TDI: 059115611AB or 059115611AM
