Can I upgrade the MMI to get traffic info on my 2010?
I recently drove both a 2013 A7 and a 2014 A4 loaner and really enjoyed the colored bars on the NAV system indicating slow traffic areas. Very helpful time saver.
Does anyone know if I can upgrade the MMI on my 2010 3.0T to get the traffic info?

The new MMI is a 3G+ model, whereby with your 2010, you have a 3G. The 2 are different systems.

the simplish answer is yes lol, but it will be through the siriusxm subscription not the same as the overlay, but it will still give you traffic alerts...
