Reliability of 07 2.0T with Revo Stage 1 Upgrade
I am looking at a 2007 A4 (6MT/Quattro)with 63K. The car has been well maintained. The local dealer has confirmed that it was serviced in accordance with the factory maintenance schedule.
Revo Stage 1 software hase been istalled for approximately one year. I took note that the dealer replaced the diverter valve recently (after the Revo Stage 1 was updated).
I take good care of my cars and drive less than 10K a year.
I would like to know if there are reliability issues associated with the Revo software? and if it would lead to replacing any of the following components prematurely?:
-fuel pump (cam follower/camshaft)
-clutch
-diverter valve
-turbo
I plan on having a local indpendent Audi specialist look at the car and pull the fuel pump and and inspect the cam lobe.
I do not want to have problems with the dealer if my fuel pump/ camshaft needs to be replaced before the 10yr/120K extended warranty expires.
Thank you!
