Default shaking in idle

hello all im an owner of an audi a2 1.6fsi sport, its has 72000 miles on the clock with FSH , i serviced it last at my local garage who i take all my cars too for a dull service at 69000 miles and i had the cambelt(timingbelt) done at 68000, not bragging but the car is in very good condition its been well looked after even my machanic said the same. although ive got a shaking judder problem when the car is in idle and it is pretty noticeable however while driving its fine! ive notice if im in idle with the aircon OFF the revs are below 1000 and the car is noticeably shakey and juddery BUT when im still in idle with the aircon ON its still shakey and juddery but not as much! anybody got any ideas? ive kept the car in as top spec as i can and really have looked after it ,puting it in for another service soon aswell even tho the tripcomputer says not for another 3-4000 miles....any help would be apreciated

Well you said it isn't noticeable when the aircon is on... The aircon make the revs go up as it needs power to work. You could try checking what is the minimum revs that it should have and compare it with what you see on your car. It is unlikely that it will be different as it should all be electronic but you never know

I think your car has vacuum leak. Check the vacuum lines for possible leak you can check it by spraying carb cleaner or wd40. Start checking from intake to throttle body.

Could be a shot in the dark if you say that your car is well maintained, check your motor mounts.

Hi.
I seem to recall an engine ecu software update to slightly increase the idling speed. However this is usually only done by a main dealer who will have the relevant technical bulletin that relates to this issue, or a good independent audi specialist.
